The Limited Edition, collectible​ 'Addict' series (ongoing). Arresting, edgy and semiotic flag collages, hybrid of Magdalene Carmen's urban photography, fashion (self-) portraits & graphics. Playfully merging dream and street grit, fine art and industrial pop aesthetics, sensitive with provocative signification. 'Addict' is at once: (1) Advertising x pop culture commentary (2) articulation of the universal corporeal-spiritual, conscious-unconscious tug of war defining the human condition (3) self-portrait intimations of feminine power in united & necessary contrast with masculine dynamics (4) however else it speaks to you.  Totalling 12-32 works on completion (whether immediately released or not).
